Marriage is like a sementic of life. Some people think of it one way some another. What it should or shouldn't be isn't really important as long as you're happy. Are you happy?
Personally I don't consider marriage to be something that I consider logical or making the most sense, I think of it more as a kind of magical thing, I guess. It's a feeling, an instinct. I know I want it, but not right now.
Marriage is actually a contract, where people promise each other to stay together forever.
Proper people will make such a step, because if they agree to marry, they are much more certain to stay together than if they don't even have the guts to marry.
The divorce rate might be 50%, but the break up rate for unmarried couples might be up to 80%.
Afterall most people have quite few girlfriends before finding the right one. If they had 4 girlfriends before they found the right one, they have broken up with 4 and stayed only with one (brake up rate 80%).
Common-law marriage is where it's at ( look it up kids ) but I'm happy for ya dude, knowing absolutely nothing about her personally, I'll say she's very hot, quite a nice catch! :)

I totally agree with the whole clubbing statement.
Most of my friends go to clubs with the intention of "pulling" and you the see the girls there barely wearing anything, it's a sad state of affairs.
