The cuban national anthem is rather brutal isnt it? Brutal and cheerful.

I'd say it is very patriotic. You should read the lyrics for the Chinese Anthem though. I think it is even more patriotic. There you would read the following:
"Let us build our new Great Wall with our flesh and blood!"
and
"Brave the enemy's fire, March on!"
