thats right, but isn't that the bad thing about manga styled drawing?
It's way to easy to variate characters by exchanging simple details like hair, eyes, clothes
The basic body structure is pretty much the same: skinny tall boddies who're tending to have far too long legs
also face features are way too simple to draw most time (especially the mouth n nose)

There is a high degree of realism, however I think it is also important that the girl, who has been drawn is also more attractive.
It is true the characters often vary only by hairstyle, color, and some small accessoires, but I would not view that as a negative thing, because I find it good that something so simple can be so beautiful.
oh yeah of course personally I'd take a 3D women everytime over a 2D
(sex tends to be better when it's done with other real human beings)
